Over the last twenty years, port and dry port logistics has undergone profound organizational and management transformations as a result of the relevant growth in demand and technological innovations occurred in the transportation and IT sectors.
The management of logistics processes from an integrated perspective â no longer distinguished by sectors, supply chains, or individual modes of handling trade flows â is now structured within a multimodal framework and requires a strategic system-wide management approach.
This must be achieved through a radical reorganization of the governance mechanisms of logistics nodes (ports, dry ports, inland terminals) and of the ways in which they interact with the business world.
The innovative nature of the projects developed by the MAR.TE. consortium stems precisely from these contextual premises, with the objective to:

Experimentally develop technological innovations, organizational solutions, and industrial prototypes
Design training pathways aimed at developing sector-specific skills and specialized professional profiles
